If you are visiting us for the first time, in person or online, we love that you’re here! Here are some questions first time visitors may want to know about before attending a service.
What are the sermons like?
We are an evangelical and orthodox Bible-believing church committed to unapologetically teaching the truth of God's Word.
What is the worship music like?
We are blessed to have deep experience and talent on our Sunday morning worship team that includes gifted musicians, vocalists, recording artists, and songwriters. Our team is committed to excellent worship music that helps draws people closer to God without being a performance. The music selection includes classic and modern worship songs, traditional hymns, and original compositions. You won't need earplugs, though; we want everyone to engage God through worship music without distraction.
What are the people like?
People describe our church family as friendly, warm, inviting, loving, and real. People would love to meet you!
What about my kids?
At The Gate, we want to partner with parents in the spiritual development and discipleship of their children. Our core values are safety, Jesus on their level, fun, excellence, and building strong relationships with other children and our trained and background checked leaders. Our Kid's Gate ministry would love to be with your children during our Sunday service.
Where do I park?
We have ample free parking in front of our location at 23456 Madero, Suite 160, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
What do I wear?
When we go to church, we are dressing for the Lord. You won't find beach or athletic wear at The Gate, but people dress casually from jeans to business casual.
How can I get connected?

We are congregational in the sense that every partner of The Gate has committed to serve one another, and we value partner input. However, decisions about the direction and operations of the church are made by the senior leadership team.
